We are very pleased to announce that we have maintained our GOLD award for Green Tourism.

Green Tourism is the largest sustainable certification programme of its kind and has been running since 1997. They assess hundreds of fantastic places to stay and visit in the UK and abroad every year. They are a not-for-profit organisation.

With more than 2000 members across the UK, Ireland, Italy, Canada and Zimbabwe they are the world’s largest and most established sustainable tourism certification programme in the world.

Keen to offer Families more convenience and ever better facilities, Rosehill Lodges is offering Parents ‘The Baby and Toddler Package’ - designed to negate the need to travel with cumbersome luggage and ensure a 'Five-Star Experience' no matter how young our guests happen to be!

Here at Rosehill Lodges, we are lucky enough to be surrounded by an enormous amount of wildlife. Our Luxury Lodges are situated in a wooded valley, by the Cornish Coast. A perfect spot for exploring nature and all that it has to offer.

We are always thrilled to hear the cry of the Short Eared Owl. Listen out for it next time you stay with us!

Cornwall in the winter is a very different experience from the lazy days of summer. Dramatic landscapes embraced by stormy weather, towering waves, seaspray and fields laced in mist. Light the log burner, wrap up warm, go see the awesome power of the Atlantic Ocean and taste and feel the salt seaspray on your face.

If you are staying with us during November/December, here are a few events we think are worthwhile attending, all within easy reach of Rosehill Lodges.

Mousehole Christmas lights

Our favourite reasons why everyone should visit Cornwall in winter...

Father Christmas has swapped the North Pole for Cornwall and has crammed his diary full of very important dates at some of our top attractions. Finish that wish list, grab a carrot for Rudolf and make a beeline for one of these festive hang-outs to meet the big man himself. But don’t expect a quick meet and greet, full festive experiences guaranteed!

The festive season is a great time to step out on the South West Coast Path, blow away the cobwebs and walk off a few mince pies in the process. Here’s some inspiration to get you out walking in a winter wonderland.

From twinkling harbours to brightly lit festive characters, Cornwall’s Christmas light displays have got it all going on! Here’s where to go to see Christmas sparkle with a Cornish twist…

17 October to 28 February Ice Skating Eden

The magical ice rink will be back for winter 2015/2016 with sessions to suit all ages and abilities, including sessions for beginners, ice discos on some Friday evenings and delicious new rink-side food.
