About us
Rosehill Lodges is a small development of luxury 5 Star Graded holiday cottages, set in a stunning wooded valley within the seaside village of Porthtowan, Cornwall. Porthtowan's bars, restaurants and long, sandy beach are just a five-minute walk away while the many and varied tourist attractions which Cornwall has to offer are easily reached by car or public transport.
Quality, through and through
The lodges have been designed and built to the highest possible standard. This has resulted in the award of 5 Stars for exceptional quality given to us by Visit Britains National Quality Assurance Scheme. Rose Hill is pleased to embrace the aspirations of the "Quality in Tourism" initiative of Visit Britain.
The lodges have been designed and built with an unrivaled attention to detail. Whether you prefer to relax in your personal hot tub spa, watch the widescreen LCD television or watch the wildlife from the decking of your lodge, you will find Rosehill Lodges an idyllic holiday destination.
Our attention to detail also concentrates on environmental standards which we are particularly proud. Rosehill is a unique environment and we are sure that our visitors will appreciate our environment as much as we do.
Each lodge is built to the highest environmental standards. Energy efficientcy is built in and the lodges are built from sustainable materials.
Rosehill Lodges is a truly unique setting for your Cornish cottage holiday.
History of Rosehill
Before the 2007 season, Rosehill was a highly successful campsite, which had been owned and operated by John & Pauline Barrow since they bought the site back in 1997.
Rose Hill Touring Park was a 5-star camp site with a loyal base of customers, many of whom returned each year to enjoy the spectacular setting.
In 2006, after 9 successful seasons, John & Pauline felt it was time to give themselves and their wonderful environment a well-earned break.
It was during this "gap year" that they decided to redevelop Rosehill as a 5-star holiday cottage park, with attention to detail and environmental considerations as the core requirements – and so, Rosehill Lodges was born.
