Bird cam
Here at Rosehill Lodges, we're surrounded by wildlife.
Every year we hook up a webcam linked in to a bird box here on our site. (just outside reception). Usually we have a family of Blue Tits. Mum and Dad have been busy building their nest and eggs are generally laid in April. Lets hope all eggs hatch out. Mum and Dad will spend many happy hours feeding all the chicks. Staff at Rosehill do not get much work done watching all the action. Last year we had one casualty but all the other chicks grew very fast and fledged the nest . By mid May this family will have left the nest to explore the big wide world. We hope our nest box will again be used next spring for another family. Our Bird Cam will be up and running again around February 2010. Please visit us again then for a front row seat.
