The walk to the beach and village from Rosehill is level by Cornish standards. Porthtowan’s beach benefits from the prestigious “Blue Flag" award. Given for exceptional water quality and beach cleanliness. It’s a great surfing beach, is sandy, and has many little pools. Great fun for all the family, from the more adventurous wanting to try their hand at surfing to the little ones who will like to explore all the rock pools.
