International Gold Green Apple Award Winners 2008

Rosehill Lodges have just been presented with a Gold Award at the International Green Apple Environment Awards for the Built Environment and Green Champions at a ceremony in the Tower of London on June 2nd 2008.

The awards were presented by OBE David Bellamy and supported by the Tree Appeal Organisation who planted a broad-leaved tree for every award winner who attended.

Rosehill Lodges have just been graded by the Green Business Tourism Scheme and have been awarded a Gold.

Our Tawny owls successfully fledged as have our blue tits which were our stars on our web cam.

Plenty of birdsong and young birds visiting our feeders at present.

The trees on the site are all in leaf now, the elderflowers are particularly abundant with flowers. We have many fox-gloves flowering and the new plantings have settled in well.

In the last few days we have been visited by a male pheasant who seems to enjoy wandering around the lodges.
