A Colourful Christmas at Rosehill

Christmas in Cornwall is really special with many small village gatherings, and festive events and traditions unique to certain places. Our lodges are very cosy and are perfect for a Christmas Break, with superb insulation and traditional log burners, you can be sure of a Christmas to remember.
We are offering 6 night Christmas breaks starting on either the 22nd or 23rd December and 5 night New Year breaks starting on either the 28th or 29th December.
Every Christmas and New Year booking receives a Christmas Cake and Crackers with the compliments of Rosehill. The Christmas cake is really special and unique to Rosehill. It is being created in a contemporary style and is hand made by "VanillaBoo" a local cake making specialist here in Porthtowan. We can hardly wait!.
Every lodge is tastefully decorated and there is a huge Christmas tree with lights at the entrance to Rosehill to give you a warm welcome and a festive feel.
Experience the dramatic Atlantic coastline, deserted beaches, stormwatching with the seaspray on your face
Love being outside? Then treat yourself on those brisk, cold days to a soak in your own personal hot tub under glass covered decking while you sip your mulled wine.
If you have consumed too much Christmas fare then a refreshing walk across the beach or cliffs will leave you feeling energised.

There are many events happening in December, here are a couple for you to look at.
Christmas Shopping in Truro.
Take advantage of the new Park and Ride service and explore Truro with no parking problems. Great service.(We have used it)
Mousehole Lights.
Mousehole is one of Cornwall's prettiest harbours and at Christmas it takes upon a charm of it's own. The whole of the village is decorated with lights, in the harbour, and old fashioned lanterns light the way for visitors.
It truly is worth a visit. Many of the little cottages join in with window decorations and there is a strong feeling of community.Enjoy a fish and chip supper as you take in the atmosphere and browse the little shops which are all open for business.
It is worth using the Park and Ride from Penzance Harbour car park as the roads are small, parking is limited and the less cars the better for those on foot.
