In these uncertain times the Housekeeping Team at Rosehill Lodges would like to reassure all our guests regarding the cleaning regime that we undertake all the time. Those of our guests who have stayed with us previously are well aware and know only too well of our sky-high cleaning standards.
5 Stard Gold Award
We have an excellent reputation for cleanliness, and this is mentioned hundreds of times on Trip Advisor reviews. Only last week we were again assessed and awarded 5 stars with the coveted Gold Award by Visit England for the 13th consecutive year for exceptional standards.
Every Lodge has always in the past, and continues to, receive a huge deep clean in between bookings. The equivalent of six-man hours of cleaning for each lodge. Over the past few weeks, we have introduced further procedures which include the disinfecting of all hard surfaces, handles, knobs etc.
In between all bookings the Hot tubs have always been completely emptied and re-filled with fresh water, disinfected around their top exterior surfaces and this will continue – they are checked daily for Chlorine, Ph and Alkalinity to ensure the chemical disinfection is working and is balanced and this is recorded. “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs”(Advice from the CDC -Centre for Disease Control).
In the office and behind the scenes.
Hard surfaces in the office area such as desks, telephones, customer keys etc etc are all disinfected daily. As a minimum, each member of staff washes their hands on arrival for work, again at break times and then again when they leave to go home. When cleaning the lodges, they all wear gloves. The lodges are located in a rural, coastal location, are well separated and there are no communal areas. Obviously we do not shake hands on your arrival but will always give everyone a lovely warm welcome.
Our housekeeping team all work for us directly, they are not agency staff, they are extremely proud of their work and regard themselves as the best in the industry.
