Another wonderful landmark for this part of Cornwall and well-worth a visit is Carn Brea Castle and the Carn Brea monument. Exploring Cornwall’s Heritage sites in the area will keep you busy as there are plenty to see. Heartlands in Pool is definitely one not to miss, as it offers interactive information about Cornish mining history, galleries, shops and a fine restaurant along with a large play area and gardens with water features.
